The title of the book is VITAMINS OF ANOTHER KIND, and the subtitle, Notes on Christian Spirituality. Vitamins of Another Kind, vitamins for the human being, body-soul: vitamins directly for our soul, and indirectly for our body, too; spiritual vitamins that if taken according to prescription, obtain harmony in our lives. Notes on Christian Spirituality: the different texts are just notes, light comments of a pilgrim on his journey of life. The notes cover the whole life of a disciple of Christ.
The author tries to answer two radical questions: Who am I? How should I live as a disciple, as a follower of Christ? He invites the readers to journey with him as co-pilgrims, and to make together the needed stops to rest and reflect on the goal of life and the mean to reach it. The final goal of earthly life is eternal life or total happiness with God and God’s family in heaven. The mean to reach heaven is following the way that leads there, namely, Jesus Christ who is the Way.
The writer invites all to follow Jesus, God and man, by witnessing a true spiritual and moral Christian life, by journeying humbly, prayerfully, compassionately, and joyfully to eternal happiness with steps of love: love is source of happiness here and hereafter.
