Ang mga dulang kabilang dito sa Virgin (Muli) Po Ako ay ang tatlo kong dulang itinanghal sa tinatawag na Virgin Labfest (VLF).
Agad may nagtanong: bakit pa raw ako sumali kung beteranong mandudula na raw ako? Taong 1974 nang isulat ko ang una kong dula. Taong 2004 nang ginawaran ako ng lifetime achievement award sa pagsulat ng dula, ang Gawad Pambansang Alagad ni Balagtas ng Unyon ng mga Manunulat sa Pilipinas. Taong 2009, o tatlumpu’t limang taon mula nang magsimula akong magsulat ng dula, saka ako sasali sa VLF.
Simple ang sagot ko: ang tinatawag na “untried, untested, and unstaged” ay ang dula, hindi ang mandudula.
Sumali rin ako sa VLF dahil, tulad ng paglakas ng dula noong dekada ’70, nais ko ngayong maging bahagi ng pagsiglang muli ng dula, tatlumpu’t limang taon man ang nagdaan.
