They spent over a year living in Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Bali, Burma and Ceylon (Sri Lanka). While she tells something of the history of each country, she focuses more on their way of life - a way which for most is now gone.
