Almario sa pagtula) ay ipinahayag na National Artist o Pambansang Alagad ng Sining noong 2003–ang pinakamataas na gawad ng Filipinas sa mga manlilikha sa kasalukuyang panahon. Iginawad sa kaniya ang naturang premyo ng pamahalaan dahil sa kaniyang kahanga-hangang talino at walang-humpay na pagsisikap sa pagsulat at pagpapaunlad ng pagtula at kritisismo sa wikang Filipino. Kinikilala rin ang kaniyang ambag sa pagpapalaganap ng modernong panitikan at aklat pambata, pag-oorganisa ng mga palihan at seminar para sa edukasyon ng mga kabataan manunulat, aktibong pagpapalaganap at pagpapaunlad ng Wikang Pambansa, at propesyonalisasyon ng pagsalin. Bukod sa isang tinitingalang makata at kritiko, isa rin siyang iginagalang na guro sa wika, panitikan, at kasaysayan, at isang lider sa gawaing pangkultura.

For non-US addresses, we ship via the Express option.
