Tila katalogo ang buong aklat ng mga gunitang may poetika ng iba’t ibang uri ng disintegrasyon, pagkawasak, at pagkaligaw ngunit may mumunting bitak na pinaglalagusan ng samot-saring ningning, anuman ang pinanggalingan.
Hindi kalabisan na sabihing si Lamberto E. Antonio ay isa sa pinakamahuhusay na makata sa bansa simula noong dekada sitenta at ang kaniyang koleksiyon na Hagkis ng Talahib na nailathala noong 1980 ay may malaking impluwensiya sa mga sumunod na henerasyon ng makata.
