Tigaon 1969
In stock
Tigaon 1969 by Soliman M. Santos Jr., a retired Regional Trial Court Judge from Naga City, documents the founding of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army in the Bicol region a year earlier than the official account — tracing the 1969 deployment of an all-Bicolano five-person expansion team to the municipality of Tigaon, Camarines Sur. Based on direct testimony and archival research, the book recovers the names and stories of the team's members and challenges the Manila-centric narrative of how the revolutionary movement took root in the provinces.
