The War in Outline 1939-1944 by The War Department
Hurry up, only 1 item left in stock.
The War Department prepared this reference volume for use in the Army's mandatory Orientation Course, giving soldiers a chronological, illustrated summary of the war from its 1939 outbreak through the spring of 1944. Issued in loose-leaf form with periodic supplements to keep pace with developments, it covered every theater with maps and timelines meant to give enlisted men a working knowledge of the conflict they were fighting. The War Department published the book, part of the Infantry Journal's Fighting Forces series, in 1944.
