Sinisikhayan niya ang ipinunlang pag-asa. May buhay siyang binubuo sa kanyang mga akda. Dito’y napipino niya ang magulong realidad ng kanyang lipunan. Kaya nga may artist ang lipunan, para may mag-ayos ng gulo sa kapaligiran. Sapagkat marahas ang totoong buhay, kailangan ng malikhaing imahinasyon, kailangan ng mga artist na magbibigay ng rhyme and reason, ng alternatibong pananaw sa kinagisnan.

Tubo siyang Pasig sa Kamaynilaan ngunit may alaala ng Davao, ang lugar ng kapanganakan ng kanyang ama. Naging manunulat siya sa maraming publikasyon at nagkamit ng mga parangal pampanitikan. Naging fellow rin siya sa UP Likhaan National Writers Workshop at maging sa iba’t ibang writers fellowship at workshop. Namayapa siya noong Marso 2009 sa siyudad na kanyang inibig at kinasuklaman
