Never Plan Tomorrow by Joseph Petak
Hurry up, only 1 item left in stock.
Joseph A. Petak served as a U.S. Army photographer during the defense of Bataan and Corregidor, taking some of the images that survived the fighting. His memoir picks up at the fall of Corregidor and follows him through the march to Bilibid, Cabanatuan, a brief spell with guerrillas after escaping the camp, and, following his recapture, transport aboard the prison ship Tottori Maru to Mukden, Manchuria, where he remained until liberation in 1945. The book includes the only published rosters of the Mukden POWs and an account of the camp's accidental bombing by a B-29 on December 7, 1944. Aquataur published the book from Fullerton, California, in 1992.
