Vicente Salumbides (born August 31, 1893; died August 7, 1979) was a Filipino director and actor. He is best known for his direction and adaptation of Ibong Adarna and Florante at Laura. Having studied law in the University of Southern California, he served in World War I in 1918 before finishing his law degree in the Philippines, passing the bar in 1922, later leaving his law practice to work with the local film industry.

One of his early experiences with motion pictures was his work as an extra at the Famous Players Lasky Studio in Hollywood. In 1936, he entered the Philippine motion picture industry, establishing the Salumbides Film Co., Ltd. in 1938. He would later write and direct various landmark films for Sampaguita and LVN Pictures, pioneering the first golden age of Philippine cinema by the 1950s.
