Born in Manila, Raul S. Manglapus achieved academic excellence at the Ateneo de Manila in 1939 and continued his studies in law at the University of Santo Tomas and Georgetown University. He held various government positions and later became a Senator, dedicating his time to the Christian Social Movement and speaking engagements.
