Ang Isang Dalumat ng Panahon ay isang tangka sa diskursong teoretiko hinggil sa rendisyon ng temporalidad na maituturing na “Filipino.” Bilang pangunahing tuon at pamamaraan nito, bumabaling ang aklat sa panitikan, sa kritikal na pagbasa nito sa iba’t ibang teksto tulad ng mga talang pandiksiyonaryo, mga pag-aaral sa larang ng araling Filipino, at mga tula. Mula sa mga ito, umuusbong ang pagpapahalaga sa panahon bilang dalumat ng pagkakataon para sa mga bagay upang maging anupaman. Higit na pinalalawig ang ganitong pagtataya sa pagsasaalang-alang sa iba pang mga kakawing na kaisipan, tulad ng alamat at kasaganaan; materyalidad at dating ng mga bagay; tropo at tropikalidad; kontemporaneidad at kasaysayan; at pag-ibig at talinghaga. Sa gayon, isinasanay ng aklat ang isang mungkahi, kung hindi man panibagong, wika upang mapag-usapan ang panahon, sampu ng partikular na paggana nito sa mundong Filipino.

No Rush: Your book is included in our regular shipment from Manila to NJ. Once it arrives in NJ, we ship it to you right away via USPS. This option takes longer but helps keep shipping costs lower.
For non-US addresses, we ship via the Express option.
