Heroes of Bataan: Corregidor and Northern Luzon by Marcus Griffin and Eva Jane Matson
Hurry up, only 1 item left in stock.
Marcus Griffin, a newspaper editor in Carlsbad, New Mexico, first compiled this photographic roster in 1946 to honor the American military men and women captured by the Japanese after the fall of Bataan, Corregidor, and northern Luzon. This enlarged second edition, co-edited with Eva Jane Matson, adds further photographs to the original's collection of over 1,000 portraits, each with a short biographical note, along with a name-and-unit index that makes it a valuable genealogical resource for descendants tracing a relative's wartime record. Yucca Tree Press published this edition in 1989, with a further printing in 1994.
