The present volume is a collection of articles about the Dominicans in the Philippines and their ministries which were first serialized in the special edition of the Philippiniana Sacra in celebration of the 800th anniversary of the foundation of the Order of Preachers. Some of the studies, before they were published in the said journal, had been originally delivered in a conference held on February 9-11, 2016, co-organized by the Center for Theology, Religious Studies and Ethics and the Faculty od Sacred Theology of the University of Santo Tomas. They are presented here in book format to become part of yet another important commemoration in the Philippine Church-the 500th year of the coming of Christianity in the country in 2021.
