Family history of the Grahams, American missionaries who established a hospital in Bohol. The patriarch, Dr. Graham had founded the hospital but had died in 1940. His widow, children and other relatives continued his dream of mentoring the sick while spreading the faith. When the war broke out, they hid in the mountains and evaded the Japanese. They assisted the guerrillas but were constantly on the move to remain free. In 1944, they were evacuated to Australia by submarine. After the war, the Graham family returned to Bohol and resumed their ministry. Based on documents and diaries of the family members. -Prof. Ricardo T. Jose
