Awareness of Light Handbook and Archives of Technical Theater in the Philippines
In stock
Awareness of Light is an essential guide to lighting design and technical theater practice by internationally acclaimed lighting designer Naomi “Shoko” Matsumoto, who has over 500 theater productions to her credit. The handbook presents lighting principles from an Asian perspective—integrating elements like Ikebana with theatrical lighting design—and features innovative organization using theater terminology. Drawing from Matsumoto’s lifelong collection housed in the Technical Theater Library and Archives at UP Center for International Studies, it serves as a foundational resource for Philippine theater professionals and students.
