Isinulat sa Paris noong 1976, unang nalimbag ang salin nito sa Holland noong 1982, at naging isang best seller. Sa punto ng pagkakahanay-hanay, ang MASA ang siya ding huli sa limang nobela ng mga Rosales na nilikha ng awtor.
